“And they say romance is dead,” Giles scoffed.
Xander covered his face. “I know!”
“Well, I think it’s sweet, Xand,” Buffy defended.
“Really?” Giles questioned. “I suppose it’s every woman’s dream her lover will propose while she’s retching into the commode.”
Xander looked up miserably. “I just I thought, as bad as this is, I’d rather be holding her hair while she's puking than with anyone else having a good time… and it just came out.”
“Aww,” Buffy sighed.
“Still, she’s kinda angry.”
“Imagine that!”
“Giles!” Buffy hissed.
“What? He did cock it up.”
“How about showing a little support?”
