He thinks of her with every breath. He thinks of her as he makes his way to his destination and again as he pulls off his glasses. As he cleans them as carefully as always, he remembers a time when she caught him cleaning his spectacles and pointedly asked him if he sometimes did so so that he did not have to see them.

He stops immediately, pushes them back onto his reddened nose, and sinks to his knees before her. His trembling hand touches her headstone. "Ah, Buffy." He would do anything just to get to see her again.
