Having just poured tea from his thermos, Giles was in no mind to do so. Besides, the Armani-suited vampire had been particularly disruptive all over town, and well, it was a vampire.
“Bring her to heel, Watcher!”
“Hey,” Buffy objected. “What is it with you city boys and the patronising crap?”
She launched into a further frenzy of assault, combining it with a diatribe on sexism, entitlement, privilege, and how his stupid hair sucked. It was clearly not going to be a night of plunge and move on.
Oh well. Giles blew on his tea calmly.
