His fingers skim the black leather. He wonders if he can still wear the pants and fears he cannot. It's been so long since he last dressed the way he truly wants, the way he used to before he accepted his destiny as the Slayer's Watcher and moved here to Sunnydale. He almost pulls the jacket from the shadows in the back of his closet, almost, but then he remembers, and tells him forcibly, that a Watcher must always dress in such a plain way as to quietly demand a modicum of respect and moves back to his everyday tweed.
