Drabble: The Burn
TITLE: The Burn

SUMMARY: Season Six, a step off canon. After patrolling, in the Magic Box, alone, Giles and Anya.
“Obviously you should take your clothes off.” Anya handed Giles a towel – far too inadequate for whatever she meant by these horrifying words. “That Skia demon goop is caustic.”
“I’m fine,” Giles said, despite the beginnings of the demon-burn through his suede and corduroy.
“Don’t be stupid. I’ve just trained you as my partner, I don’t want you hurt.” Frowning, she began to take off his jacket herself.
The touch of her hands was worse than the demon, er, goop – another, sweeter kind of heat. “I’ll do it,” he said. She kept going.
He burned for her. He was lost.
