"Yes, Xander, my whole life is a magical mystery tour. I’m sorry that you will be unable to do any research this afternoon because you fell asleep during a math quiz and need to retake it. Sorry, but not surprised."

"It snuck up on me. One minute I was thinking about what “x” was and the next, Mr McBride was shaking my shoulder."

"Very unsettling."

"I can’t begin to tell you," Xander grinned. "Just don’t ask what I was dreaming about."

That was totally cute! Very much who Giles and Xander were in high school. And I'm sure Giles also wouldn't be surprised about what Xander was dreaming about... not that he would want confirmation that he was right!
