Giles blew on his tea calmly, which didn’t reflect the inner turmoil he felt witnessing the unfolding drama between his Slayer and her sister as their argument escalated. Of course, he tried to stay out of it.
“Giles,” Buffy whined. “A little help here?”
“Ugh! You can’t always pout at him and get your way!”
He rolled his eyes. “Now, Dawn-“
“You always side with her!”
“Yes, well, I have to agree. Dating vampires is strictly prohibited.”
“Wait! Is that your objection?“ Dawn scoffed at them. “He’s not a vamp!”
“He’s rather pale,” Giles noted.
“Hello! Pot, kettle! He’s British!”
