Title: Negotiations
Author: il_mio_capitano
Rating: FRC
Length: 100
Characters: Giles, Snyder
Previous line: “I knew I had been served decaf!”
“I knew I had been served decaf!” Principal Snyder spat the coffee out in disgust. “Now, why are you in my office and not teaching?”
Giles kept his cool. “Because I’m here to ask if you’ve signed my requisition order.”
“More books? They haven’t read the old ones yet. We’re a school not a book club.”
A stray fantasy crossed Giles’ mind of stuffing the pompous little man into one of his desk drawers, coffee and all. Ripper would have done so, but Giles was not a violent man. He was a man who knew how to forge a signature.
Notes: There probably should be a colon rather than a full stop on those last two lines, but I figured that would be a harsh line to leave Otter as a starting part.
