Giles walked into his kitchen and stared at the glass in confusion.
"Buffy, why is this glass empty?"
"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you poured the water for me."
"You... you drank this?"
"It's just water. Geez, Giles, chill. I'll pour you another glass," she groused, setting down her magazine and getting up from the sofa.
"No, it wasn't. That glass held my contact lenses. I couldn't find my kit last night, so I improvised."
"Oh ewwwww! Ugh gross! God, I'm gonna be sick!"
While Buffy wigged out, he calmly headed up to the loft, muttering about retrieving his glasses.
