“The way I see it, our mission’s only just begun,” Anya said ominously.
Giles looked aghast. “But we’ve just spent 8 hours decorating the Magic Box for Halloween. What more is there to do?”
“We need to be ready for the next wave. We should put a few of the expensive Grampus items out near the till. Customers will snap them up.”
“But it’s only just October,” he pleaded.
“Exactly. There are bored people out there, people who want nothing better than to spend their money on Christmas crap to make their lives seem less worthless.”
She had a point.
