“Ah yes, problem solved,” Giles said confidently from under the hood.
Buffy sat behind the wheel with crossed arms. “You said that two hours ago.”
“Just try her once more.”
She turned the key to deafening silence.
“Ok. Let me try something else.”
“Giles, I want to go to college next year.”
“Where are you thinking of applying?”
“But I can’t go if we are still stuck here! Can’t we call someone?”
“Oh Excellent idea. Why didn’t I think of that hours ago?” He replied. “Do you have a phone?”
Buffy sulked in defeat. Giles was the king of sarcasm.
