Emotions struggle on Giles' face as he pushes away from the table. "Mister Giles, are you quite all right, sir? You look as though you're in pain!"

"Indeed I am, madam! Never have I felt such a tightness in my sternum or a heaviness in my abdomen!"

"Then you ate just right. You're what we Americans call stuffed."

"I thank you again for the invitation, but I shall never grow accustomed to these inane traditions." Yet, twenty years later, he pushes away from another table and another blonde host and realizes he's done just that and no longer has any complaints.
