“Our mission isn’t done yet, oh Tall One.”
Giles looked at Andrew and found himself wondering if anything were to happen to the boy, would anyone really miss him? Could he go back to the house, claim some sort of accident or run-in with the Bringers, and whoops, sorry, no Andrew?
“I’ll get the first aid supplies, you get the make-up and um, personal hygiene items for our Potential Red-shirts.”
If fact, would Giles even need an excuse? Would anyone even ask him what happened?
“Looting must agree with you, Mr Giles. It’s the first time I’ve seen you smile.”
