A Merry Chase
By: T. Dunn
Rating: FRC
Pairing: None
Summary: Giles as a child was a handful.
Disclaimer: Joss Whedon created the character Rupert Giles. I only added a past for him.
Words: 140 (oops a little over)
A mother chased her five year old around the garden. “Gregory get out here and help me; he’s at it again!” she called to her husband when he pulled into the drive.
The little boy gave a merry chase; laughing as the fresh, green grass tickling his toes.
The parents came at him from two angles and was halted by his father. His mother approached with as stern a look as she could gather.
“Rupert, how many times have I told you? You cannot run around outside, in all your glory. Now get in the house and put your clothes back on.”
The boy walked solemnly back into the house. The parents looked one to the other and burst into laughter, eventually Gregory said, “His teacher is going to have her hands full when he goes to primary this autumn.”
