He wonders how things could have been different for their predecessors. He wonders if they could have been different, been better, if the others had been more than a team, had been more than friends, more than a family. Every day, he wonders if the Slayers could have lived longer had they known love, had only their Watchers loved them even an inkling as much as he loves his Buffy.
