            Dawn was visiting Buffy, when there was a knock at the door. “I’ll get it.” Two men stood before her.
            “Does this young man belong here?” one asked as he stepped aside to present Giles.
            Giles was looking down at his feet; feeling not only embarrassed but ashamed. After years of telling Buffy and her friends the importance of doing what was required over what they wanted; he had taken the day to just… be.
            Buffy arrived to answer the man’s question. “Yes he does, what’s wrong officer?”
            “We caught your son,” Dawn snickered, “playing hooky. He tried to tell us, in several colorful ways, that he no long went to school. If he is out again during school hours; he will have to go before the juvenile court for truancy." Buffy glared at her, now de-aged, mentor.
            "That's it! Get in here; you're grounded until you're forty mister.”

I'm giggly at seeing comic lil Giles in this. He's not going to adapt well to the Education system. Buffy, word of advice, homeschooling.

Buffy (looks at watch): Okay Giles it's 7am go get today's lessons done."
Giles: I've completed them.
Buffy: Okay... do tomorrow's.
Giles:No, I've completed the classes.

I just picked up the digital comics for Buffy season 10 yesterday. They were fun to read but us writers will have to fill in the fun stuff that happens between battles.

I actually meant that fanfic with lil Giles is fun to read. I gave up on the comics when the Master showed up again.

I haven't read them all just the newest ones cause I wanted to see how they would integrate young Giles into the series. So far... not too bad.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing how they integrate young Giles but my library seems to have stopped getting the Buffy comics somewhere in season 9.

Yeah, I would have preferred a hard copy but I never seem to get to a store that sells them in time so I went a head and got the digital ones from Dark Horse.
